Jurnal Laboratorium Khatulistiwa recognizes authorship as both scholarly credit and responsibility for published work. The journal adopts the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT), comprising 14 standardized roles, to ensure transparent reporting of author contributions.
CRediT roles describe contributions but do not determine authorship eligibility. All authors must meet the journal's authorship criteria, including substantial scholarly contribution, manuscript drafting or critical revision, final approval, and accountability for the work. Contributors who do not meet these criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.
